2024 has been a year of frenzied ideas and nervous decisions. We set ourselves the challenge of bringing two very different communities together; inviting Afghan migrants to work alongside Ukrainians to create a show reflecting truths of their shared experience. We were naive in some ways and brave in others. But the very nature of this project is to be bold, hopeful and open to new possibilities.

We ventured into unknown territory, learnt A LOT along the way and the result has led us to gentle, gentle connections.

And we’re still here.
